Anzac Day 25th April 2012

Well this time in 2008 Rebecca and I (my Niece) went to Turkey for the Anzac Day events at Gallipoli and we enjoyed our trip but this year being at home Dad and I go to the local Berry (NSW) marches, it was absolutely freezing , but its good for us.. They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them

Well, I'm, back home  , 2 days in Canberra , was a good  trip  and the car went well ,
had kfc one night and then dinner at a little pizzera place in Dickson ..

Milo in Canberra

Yesterday I arrived at Canberra to stay for a couple of nights, last night I saw G3 2012
JOE SATRIANI, STEVE VAI, & STEVE LUKATHER at The Royal theater. It was a great show,I have seen joe and Steve many times now and they always put on a great show!

Today, 28th march

Today I went to the Australian War
Manorial and spent some time there, then I went to the Austrlian parliament house, and tomorrow home.

It's been a good trip so far!

Mums week

Well, its mums week this week.
Monday marked the 5th anaversery of her passing..
It feels like a long time ago but I still remember it like yesturday

and also its mums birthday tomorrow , on then19th , she would have been 86 if still with us..
We will aways remember you mum...

12 Months today .. Bens day!

I cant believe it, 12 months today that my best friend Ben the border collie dog passed away from throat cancer...
He was a loyal loving dog, Always on the look out for me and he loved his walks every day... He also loved food and just being with me..
I miss you so much Ben Ramsay...RIP ...

Were back !

Dad and I got back home on Tuesday night, after a long drive from Wellington to Nowra due to the bush fires in the Blue Mountains and around Sydney we got caught up in a lot of traffic.. Finally got home around 6.30ish..

Nice to be home, looks like the weather is going to be a mixed bag the next few days!!

Mad max country !

Well, were half way home , and back into NSW and still in South Australian time?? Any ways , were going to try and find Mum and Dads house that they lived in nearly 60 years ago in thre early married life, so will be interesting to see how it looks, and also at some stage go to the Mad Max pub and have a look around...should be fun!

Our travels so far

Dad and I had a great couple of days at Meningie , with Mark and Tania Miller at the Lake Albert Caravan park which they run, now were at Adelaide and saw some of our relies. But we've canned the trip to Alice springs due to some problems with the van.. so going home via Peterborough then Broken Hill and then home should be back by mid next week..
The weather has been up and down like a yo yo,some wet days and some cold days and some warm days.. were leaving Adelaide tommorrow..

Well we made it!

Dad and I drove for about 6hours in the Tardis, our 23 ft Jayco motor home and off to Hay tomorrow

Just about ready

Well, I think were just about ready for our trip, heading off on tuesday now, and should be a good trip.. First to Adelaide SA then upto Alice Springs and back home via Broken hill
